Tauriel Mirkwood Tunic part 1

Yay now I can work with my Mirkwood tunic fabric :)
For the top I used cotton fabric as a base, so the top will keep it's shape.

Juhui jetzt kann ich endlich mit den Mirkwood Stoff arbeiten :)
Für's Oberteil habe ich eine Grundlage aus Baumwolle gemacht. damit es die Form behält.

Here already most top parts are sewn together, still missing one sleeve, but I love it so far :D

Hier habe ich bereits die meisten Teile vom Oberteil zusammen, ein Ärmel fehlt noch, aber bis jetzt find ich es toll :D

Meanwhile from the skirt-front: First I cut the linging. I used a medium crushed taffeta which is the same green shade. Then I pinned the lining layer ontop of the actual fabric and cutting around it.

Wärenddessen von der Rock-Front: Zuerst habe ich das Futter zugeschnitten. Dieses ist aus einem medium crushed Taft im selben Grünton. Dann habe ich die Futterteile auf den effektiven Stoff gepinnt und rundherum geschnitten.

Then I sewed the two layers together.

Dann habe ich die beiden Lagen zusammengenäht.

So sehen die Blätter nach them nähen aus :)

And here all the leafs joined together for the skirt. I'm so pleased with that and very happy :D

Und hier sind alle Blätter zusammen genäht zum fertigen Rock. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit und total glücklich :D

Can't wait to finish this tunic!! So maybe tomorrow I'll have a new post for you ;)

Kann es kaum erwarten diese Tunika fertig zu nähen!! Also vielleicht gibts bereits morgen das nächste Update ;)
