Wonder Woman Corset: step by step part 2

Wie gestern schon angekündigt gehts heute mit den Stäbchen weiter ;)

As announced yesterday, today I'll continue with the boning ;)

Zuerst habe ich die Plastikstäbchen auf die richtige länge zugeschnitten. Ich habe eine Schere die ich nur dafür verwende, da es ihnen nicht so gut tut.....

First I cut the plastic boning in the right lenght. I have scissors I use only for this work, because it kind of ruins them.....

Um eine schöne Rundung hinzubekommen schleife ich die Stäbchen mit Sandpapier.

To geht a nice ending, I use some sandpaper to round the edges.

Um die Stäbchen gerade zu bekommen benütze ich das Bügeleisen und viel Dampf (geht auch ohne Dampf) Dadurch werden sie weich und "entspannen" sich.

To make the boning straight I use my iron and a lot of steam (it also works without steam). They get soft and "relax".

Wenn sie ausgekühlt sind bleiben sie gerade.

When they cooled down the stay straight.

Jetzt kann man sie in die dafür vorgesehen Tunnels einschieben.
------------
Now you can insert them in the intended tunnels.







Jetzt noch Saum, Auschnitt und Verschluss und ich bin fertig mit dem Korsett. Mehr dazu nächste Woche. 
Natürlich kommen dann noch die Verzierungen, sowie Stirnreif und Armschienen :)

The only things left to do are the hem, the decolletage and the closure. More this next week.
Of coures I also have to do the decorations plus the tiara and the bracers :)
