Feenflügel Teil 1 / Fairy Wings part 1

Heute geht es um die Flügel meines aktuellen Projekts

Today's post is about the wings of my current project

Für die Flügel verwende ich folgende Materialien:
weisser Organza, 2 mm Draht vom Coop Bau&Hobby, dünner Daht um die Teile zusammen zu binden, silbernes Satinband um den Rahmen der Flügel einzufassen und silberne Farbe für die Verzierung

I'm using following matirials for my wings:
white organza, 2 mm wire from a swiss hardware store, a thin wire to put the parts together, a silver satin ribbon to cover the wire frame and silver color for decorations

Hier die aus Draht geformten Flügel. WICHTIG: unbedingt einen stabielen dickeren Draht verwenden, sonst verbiegen sich die Flügel am Schluss sehr schnell

Here is the wire frame of the wing. IMPORTANT: you have to use firm, thicker wire, otherwise your wings will be easily deformed

Nach dem Rahmen geht ans bespannen mit Organza. Den Stoff lieber etwas zu grosszügig zuschneiden ;)

After the frame it's time to cover it with the organza. Rather cut out to much fabric ;)






Am Donnerstag gibts dann den 2. Teil zu den Feenflügel ;)
