Feenkostüm-Details / Fairy costume details

Heute gehts wieder um das Feenkostüm, besser gesagt um die einzelnen Details.
Sorry ich habs gestern nicht mehr geschafft, drum ist es halt für einmal ein Mittwochs-Post ;)

Todays post is again about the fairy costume, about it's details
I'm sorry I couldn't make it yesterday, so for once it's a Wednesday post ;)

Die geschwungenen Muster über dem Saum habe ich mit einem Zick-Zack Stich per Maschiene aufgenäht. Ich habe den Zick-Zack verwendet, damit man es im Fell besser sieht. Die grüne Gürtel-Kordel ist einfach mehrmals um den Körper gewickelt ;)

For the designs above the seam I used the zigzag stitch on my sewing machine. I used zigzag so it shows better on the fur. The green belt-cord is just wrapd around the body several times ;)

Das Felloberteil wird mit Bändern geschlossen. Einmal innen links und.....

The fur shirt is closed with straps. Once from inside left and....

Es war ziemlich schwierig die Flügel zu fixieren, ich habe einiges versucht, wie zB. Satinbänder oder Gummibänder, alles konnte die Flübel nicht schön halten. Diese sind immer nach hinten oder zur Seite gekippt.

It was quite a challenge to fix the wings, I tried diffrent things, as satin ribbons or elastic straps, but nothing would hold the wings in place. They would just tilt back or to the side.
 

I bin fast druchgedreht ;) Dann kam mir die Idee eine Unterkonstrucktion zu machen.
Die Flügel habe ich an dieser Konstruktion befestigt und dann hats wunderbar geklappt :)
In der hinteren Mitte habe ich Korsett-Stäbchen eingearbeitet, damits noch besser hält.....

I almost went crazy over it ;) Then I came up with the idea of an unter-constraction.
I fixed the wings to the constraction and it worked perfectly :)
I worked in some corset stays in the back part, so it would hold even better......

.....Vorne wird die Kostruktion mit Klettverschluss geschlossen, einmal um den Bauch und darüber die Träger.

.....The construction closes in front with velcro fastener. Once around the belly and over it the straps.

Da die Flügel unter dem Kostüm getragen werden, braut es natürlich einen Schlitz im Oberteil, durch diesen zieht man die Bänder durch und sieht schlussendlich nur noch die Flügel. 
Bin echt happy mit dem Ergebniss :))

As you wear the wings underneath the costume, it obviously needs slit in the shirt. Through that slit you pull the whole strap construct. At the end you can only see the wings. I'm very happy with the result :))

Hier noch die Innenansicht des Oberteils. Der Schlitz wird mit 2 Haken geschlossen. An den Enden ist der Schlitz breiter als in der Mitte.

Here you see the inside view of the shirt. The slit is closed by two hook and eyes. On its two ends the slit gets wider.
