Das Kleid in Vorderansicht. Ich habe übrigens fast 100'000 Rocailleperlen und Stiftperlen für dieses Kleid verwendet und nein ich habe mich nicht mit den Nullen vertan ;)

The dress in front view. By the way I used almost a 100'000 rocaille beads and bugle beads. And no I didn't add to many zeros to this number ;)
Und hier die Rückansicht des schwer bestickten Kleides, welches auch wirklich ziemlich schwer geworden ist mit all diesen Perlen.

Ich werde versuchen in Zukunft jeweils 2 Updates/Posts pro Woche zu machen. Jeweils am Dienstag und am Donnerstag oder Freitag. Drückt die Daumen dasses klappt :)

Hier sieht man das zweilagige Rückenteil mit den groben Bezeichungen für die Stickerei

Zuerst habe ich die silbernen Stiftperlen auf die Bezeichungslinien gestickt

I started with the silver bugle beads at the outlines of the silver parts
Nach einiger Zeit gingen mir dann die silbernen Stiftperlen aus und so musste ich mehr davon besellen ;)

After a while I run out of silver bugle beads and had to order more of theme ;)
Ich der Zwischenzeit habe ich mit den elfenbein farbenen Rocaille Perlen begonnen, wie man oben links sieht.....

In the meantime I started with the ivory rocaille beads, as you can see top left....

Es ist vollbracht, das Aschenbrödel Brautkleid mit Kette ist fertig und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit :))

Wie gestern erwähnt stelle ich heute ein neues Projekt vor und zwar ist es ein 20er Jahre Kleid inspiriert vom Film "Midnight in Paris"

As I mentioned yesterday, I will intoduce a new project now. I'ts a 20's dress inspired by the movie "Mignight in Paris"

Für die Anprobe habe ich bereits ein Probemodell aus einem anderen Stoff gefertigt, damit der Schnitt sitzt ;)

For the fitting I already made a try-on version of the dress. So that it will fit perfectly ;)
Hier die Materialien die ich verwenden werde werde. Ein gelber Seidencrepe als Unterstoff und drüber ein weisser Seidenchiffon. Hinzu kommen natürlich unzählige Glasperlen....

Here are the materials that I will use. A yellow silk-crepe underneath and above a white silk-chiffon. And of course countless glass beads....
Wenn alles nach Plan läuft, starte ich schon sehr bald mit diesem Kleid, bzw mit dem Besticken. Ich freu mich schon :))

If everything goes according to plan, I will start very soon with this dress, or rather with the embroidery. I'm looking forward doing it :))

Inzwischen sind alle Perlen und Borten am Kleid angebracht und auch die Ärmel sind fertig ;)

Die Ärmel sind übrigens aus Chiffon und unterlegt mit Organza, damit sie etwas steifer sind

By the way, the sleeves are made of chiffon, but under it I put some organze to make it stiffer
Hier sieht man noch von nahem alle Borten und Perlen an Empire-Naht und Ausschnitt. Mir gefällt das Ergebniss sehr gut :)

Momentan arbeite ich an der Kette.... Das Kleid wird bis ende dieser Woche komplett sein, nächste Woche gibts dann viele Fotos :))

At the moment I'm working on the neckless...... The dress will be completed by the end of the week, next week I will upload a lot of pictures :))

Inzwischen ist das Kleid verziert mit Borten und Perlen an der Empirnaht und am Ausschnitt

In the mean time I decorated the dress with trim and pearls on the empire seam and the neckline
1. Schritt: 2 dunkel-silberne Borten zusammen genäht, als Grunlage

Step 1: 2 dark-silver trims sewing together, as a base
2. Schritt: 2 hell-silberne Borten auf die drunkeln drauf genäht

Step 2: 2 light-silver trims sewing on top of the dark one
3. Schritt: um die Kanten gerade zu machen, habe ich unten und oben eine Kordel in dunkel-silbern angebracht

Step 3: to make it look straight, I used a dark-silver cord above and below
Und dann natürlich die Perlen.... Ich habe viel mehr gebraucht als ich dachte ;)

And then the pearls of course..... I used a lot more than I thought I would ;)
Momentan bin ich an den Ärmeln und der Schleppe dran, gibt bald wieder ein Update :)
