Hallo Leute,
tut mir sehr leid, dass ich in letzter Zeit so wenig Posts machen konnte. Ich hab grad sehr viel zu tun .... wenn ihr regelmässigere Updates möchtet, besucht doch meine Facebook oder Istagram Seite ;) (Links ganz unten in diesem Post)

In the mean time I finished my Tauriel daggers, hear are the final steps:

In der Zwischenzeit habe ich die Tauriel Dölche fertiggestellt, hier die letzten Schritte:

Painting the handle, first the "wood part" in brown, not to heavily applied so you can still see the structure underneath.
-------------
Den Griff bemalen, zuerst den "Holzteil" in Braun, nicht zu dick aufgetragen, damit man die Struktur darunter immernoch sehen kann.

Then the golden part on top and bottom

Dann die goldenen Verzierungen oben und unten

At last the shadows around the edges of the golden decorations, to give it some depth

Zum Schluss schattieren an den Kanten der Verzierungen um dem Ganzen Tiefe zu verleihen

And your done ;)

Tauriel daggers: WIP - painting

Over the weekend, I started the painting word :)

Übers Wochenende habe ich mit dem Anmalen begonnen :)

First I spray painted the blades silver
----------------
Zuerst habe ich die Klingen silbern angesprüht

After that I hand painted the details in gold and black acrylic paint

Danach habe ich die Details handbemalen mit goldener und schwarzer Acrylfarbe

Hope to find some more time to paint this week :D

Hoffe ich finde noch etwas Zeit diese Woche um weiter zu malen :D

Luthien traveling dress

I made this dress for the Rivendell festival 2013. I call it my Luthien traveling dress, it's inspired from a Skyrim dress ;)) My friend is wearin Eowyns traveling dress, also done by me.

Ich habe dieses Kleid für das Bruchtalfest 2013 gemacht. Ich nenne es mein Luthien Reisekleid, es ist inspiriert von einem Skyrim Kleid ;)) Meine Begleiterin trägt Eowyns Reiseoutfit, auch von mir angefertigt.

Cersei dress: pattern

Hey guys, here's my pattern for Cersei's mourning dress. It was quie compicated and tricky, but now I'm done  :)

Hallo Leute, hier ist mein Schnittmuster für Cerseis Trauerkleid. Es war recht kompliziert zum anfertigen, aber jetzt hab ichs geschafft :)

I know this looks a bit funny, but its the back and front joined toghether, as there is no shoulder seam in this dress.

Ich weiss, sieht etwas komisch aus, aber das ist das Rück- und Frontmuster zusammengestzt, da es bei diesem Kleid keine Schulternaht gibt.

And here are all the middle and side pices (and my curious cat ;) )

Und hier seht ihr alle mittel und seiten Teile (und meine neugierige Katze ;) )

Last but not least, the sleeve pattern. It's about 2 meters wide. As I haven't made a mockup for the sleeve yet, this could change a bit in the process.

Zu guter Letzt das Ärmelmuster. Es ist ca 2 Meter lang. Da ich den Ärmelschnitt noch nicht getestet habe, könnte er sich noch etwas verändern.

Also my jacquard finally arrived and I'm pretty happy with it :) Sorry it's not the best pic....

Zudem ist endlich mein Jacquardstoff angekommen und ich bin echt zufrieden damit :) Sorry, das Foto ist nicht so gut....

I'm still waiting for the red tafetta for the lining, but at least now I can start with this dress :)

Auf den roten Taftstoff fürs Futter muss ich noch warten, aber wenigstens kann ich nun mit dem Kleid beginnen :)

Cersei mourning dress: mockup

Last week I started with a new project, a Cersei commission. The dress is insprired from her mourning dress from the first episode of the new season. See picture below.

Letzte Woche habe ich mit einem neuen Projekt begonnen. Eine Auftragsarbeit für ein Cersei Kleid. 
Das Kleid ist inspiriert von Cerseis Trauerkleid aus der ersten Episode von der neusten Staffel. Siehe Bild unten.

Instead of a gold lining, I'm going to use a red taffeta and following black jacquard:

Anstatt goldenen Futterstoff, werde ich einen roten Taft verwende und folgenden schwarzen Jacquard Stoff: 

This is my Cersei mockup, before the fitting. The colors are all wrong (looks more like a Daenerys dress ;) ), the skirt is only one-sided and the sleeves are missing for now. But hey it's just a mockup ;))

Das ist mein Cersei Probemodess vor der Anprobe. Die Farben stimmen überhaupt nicht (sieht fast mehr aus wie ein Daenerys Kleid ;) ), der Rock ist nur einseitig und die Ärmel fehlen noch.  Aber ja ist ja schliesslich nur ein Probemodell ;)

Yesterday my black jacquard fabric arrived, yayyy!!!! So now I can beginn with the real dress :D

Gestern ist mein schwarzer Jacquardstoff angekommen, juhuuuu!!!!! Nun kann ich mit dem "richtigen" Kleid beginnen :D

Tauriel daggers: work in progress 2

Over the weekend I had some time to work on my Tauriel daggers :) Added some detail to them.
I used hot glue and a precision grinder ;)

Übers Wochenende hatte ich etwas Zeit um an meinen Tauriel Dolchen weiter zu arbeiten :) Habe ein paar Details hinzugefügt. Verwendet habe ich Heissleim und einen Dremel ;)

 

Soon I'll start with the painting part :)

As I'm not so very skilled with wood crafting, I have some help with my Tauriel daggers. I did the sketches and my boyfriend helped me with the crafting :) And he did an amazing job so far <3

Da ich nicht so geübt bin im Umgang mit Holz, habe ich Hilfe bekommen bei meinen Tauriel Dölchen. Ich habe skizziert und mein Freund hat den Rest gemacht :) Und er hat fantstische Arbeit geleistet bis jetzt <3

 

 

 

I'm so happy with how that turned out, I think it looks so beautiful :) (I didn't take a picture of both daggers, sorry) 
Still needs a bit more shaping and then of course the decorations and painting it in the end...

Ich bin so happy mit dem Resultat, ich finde der Dolch ist wunderschön gworden  :) (ich habe kein Bild gemacht mit beiden Dölchen, sorry)
Sie brauchen noch etwas mehr geformt werden, dann kommen die Dekorationen und natürlich werden sie auch noch angemalt...
